How GridCell works
GridCell is a social feed where any post or clip can become a trade. You follow people and read what they post. When something moves a market, Cell AI shows you which one and builds the order. You confirm every trade yourself.
Getting started
- Join the waitlist. Live Leave your X or Telegram handle on the home page. Invites go out in small batches.
- Create your account. Planned Sign in with email or a passkey. Where the law requires it, you'll verify your identity before you can trade.
- Fund your balance. Planned Deposit USDC on Solana first. Card and bank transfers come later, where partners allow them.
- Follow a few people. Planned Your For you feed fills in from there. Tap ✦ on any post to see what it moves.
- Place your first trade. Planned Every order shows its cost, its fee and, for leverage, its liquidation price before you confirm. Start small.
Status and roadmap
We launch market by market, each only once GridCell or a licensed partner can offer it.
- Waitlist and community on X and Telegram
- App design and Cell AI prototype
- Partner and licence talks
- Crypto spot and prediction markets
- USDC funding
- Cell AI reads and calls
- Perps, stocks and ETFs
- Sports and commodities where licensed
- $CELL launch after the beta
The feed
The app has four tabs: For you, Following, Clips and Sports. Posts can hold text, images and short clips.
Market tags
When a post mentions something you can trade, it gets a market tag showing the price and today's move. Cell AI adds the tag, or the author picks it. Tap the tag to trade.
Posting
Write a post as usual. Attach a trade and it becomes a call, which counts toward your public record.
House rules
- Paid promotion must be labelled. Unlabelled paid posts are removed.
- Impersonation and coordinated pump-and-dump posts are removed, and the accounts behind them are closed.
- Posts that share private or insider information are removed.
Cell AI Planned
Cell AI is the layer between the feed and the markets. Tap ✦ on a post or clip and it works in four steps:
- Read. It sums up the claim in the post in one or two lines.
- Check. It sets the claim against live prices and public news, and says whether the market has already moved.
- Find. It lists the markets the claim moves, both direct and related, and which way.
- Build. It drafts a single trade or a basket, sized within the limits you set. If you like, it also drafts the reason for your call.
What it won't do
- Place a trade without your confirmation
- Promise an outcome, or call a trade safe
- Read your messages, or trade on private information
Where its information comes from
The post itself, live market prices, public filings and licensed news feeds. Every read lists its sources so you can check them.
Markets Planned
One balance covers every market. The app only shows markets that are available where you live.
| Market | What you trade | Example | Launch |
|---|---|---|---|
| Crypto | Spot coins | BTC, ETH, SOL | Closed beta |
| Predictions | Yes/No contracts priced 1¢–99¢ that pay $1 if right | Fed decision in December | Closed beta |
| Perps | Perpetual futures, up to 10× leverage | BTC-PERP | Later |
| Stocks | Shares and ETFs, fractional from $1 | MSFT, an S&P 500 ETF | Later |
| Sports | Outcome contracts on matches and seasons | Who wins the 2027 NBA title? | Later, where legal |
| Commodities | Gold, silver, oil and copper, through perps | Gold 2× | Later |
How prediction prices work
A Yes at 62¢ pays $1 if the event happens and nothing if it doesn't, so the price is roughly the market's odds. You can sell before the result at whatever the price is then.
About the prices on the home page
The home page shows live public data: crypto from CoinGecko, stocks, indices and futures from Yahoo Finance, and prediction odds from Polymarket. It refreshes every minute, and stock and futures prices can be delayed. They show what GridCell's markets will cover. GridCell isn't open yet, so none of them can be traded here.
How leverage works
With 5× on a perp, a 1% move in the price is a 5% gain or loss on your stake. If losses use up your margin, the position closes. That's called liquidation. Each market has its own maximum leverage, and new accounts start lower.
Baskets Planned
A basket is several positions placed as one order, each with a weight. Build one yourself, or ask Cell AI to build one from a post.
- Weights are set when you buy. Baskets don't rebalance on their own.
- Sell the whole basket at once, or one leg at a time.
- The minimum is $10 per basket and $1 per leg. Proposed
Calls and copying Planned
A call is a trade plus the reason for it, posted publicly. Edits are logged, and deleting a call doesn't remove it from your record.
Track records
- Only trades placed on GridCell count.
- Profiles show return over 30, 90 and 365 days, the hit rate (the share of closed calls that made money) and the number of closed calls.
- A record shows only after 20 closed calls, so a few lucky trades can't fake a record.
Copying
- You get the same legs and weights at the current price, not the caller's entry price.
- You choose the amount. Copying never moves money from or to the caller's account.
- Closing your copy is up to you. It doesn't close when the caller closes, unless you turn on "close with caller".
Caller rewards Proposed
Callers get 10% of GridCell's fee on trades copied from their calls. Copiers pay nothing extra.
Fees Proposed
Every order shows its fee before you confirm. There are no subscriptions and no fee for holding a balance.
| Item | Fee |
|---|---|
| Crypto spot | 0.40% of the trade |
| Predictions and sports | 1¢ per contract |
| Perps | 0.06% of the position size per trade, plus funding |
| Stocks and ETFs | 0.20% of the trade, minimum 1¢ |
| USDC deposits | Free |
| Withdrawals | Network fee only |
| Paying fees in $CELL | 25% off |
Funding is a small payment between long and short holders of a perp, every hour. It keeps the perp price close to the real price. GridCell doesn't keep it.
Funding and withdrawals Planned
- USDC on Solana comes first. Card and bank transfers follow where partners allow them.
- Withdraw to your own wallet or bank. Withdrawals from a new device are held for 24 hours.
- Customer money is held apart from company money, with regulated custodians or partners. We will name them before launch.
Risk and safety
Your limits
- Set a daily loss limit, and the app blocks new trades for the day once you reach it.
- Set your own maximum leverage, below the market's maximum.
- For leveraged trades, the liquidation price is shown before you confirm and on the position afterwards.
Account security
- Sign in with passkeys, with two-factor authentication available.
- Limit withdrawals to addresses you've approved.
Scams
Where GridCell is available
Not every market is available in every country, and some countries won't be supported at all. The app checks your region and only offers what's allowed there.
$CELL Planned
$CELL is the GridCell community token. It isn't live yet. Nothing here is an offer to buy it, and you don't need it to use GridCell.
| Chain | Solana (planned) |
| Supply | 1,000,000,000 (planned) |
| Contract | Not deployed. It will be posted only on @GridCell and this site. |
| Team share | Published, with its lock, before launch |
| Presale | None |
| Launch | After the closed beta |
What it's for Proposed
- 25% off trading fees when you pay them in $CELL
- Caller rewards, paid from GridCell's fee
- A vote on which markets list next
What we commit to
- Every team and treasury wallet is published.
- No bundled buys or fake volume at launch.
- No promises about price or returns.
FAQ
Is GridCell live?
Not yet. The waitlist is open, and the first invites will go to a closed beta with crypto and prediction markets.
Is Cell AI financial advice?
No. Cell AI explains posts and drafts trades, but you decide and confirm every trade, and it can be wrong.
Which countries will GridCell support?
That depends on licences and partners, market by market. We'll publish the list before the beta opens.
Do I need $CELL to use GridCell?
No. You can trade and pay fees in USDC. $CELL only gives a fee discount and a vote.
What's the $CELL contract address?
There isn't one yet. When there is, it will be posted on @GridCell and on this site first. Any other address is fake.
Can I lose more than I put in?
That's not the design. Leveraged positions close before losses go past the margin on that position. In very fast markets a close can happen at a worse price than the liquidation price shown.
How do callers get paid?
Under the current proposal, callers get 10% of GridCell's fee on trades copied from their calls. Copiers pay nothing extra.
